<P align=left><STRONG>大、小薊皆能清血分之熱，以止血熱之妄行，而小薊尤勝。</STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG>凡因血熱妄行之証，單用鮮小薊根數兩煎湯，或榨取其自然汁，開水沖服，均有捷效，誠良藥也。</STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG>小薊莖中生蟲，即結疙瘩如小棗。</STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG>若取其鮮者十餘枚搗爛，開水沖服，治吐衄之因熱者甚效。</STRONG></P>

<P align=left><STRONG>鄰村李××曾告愚曰︰“余少年曾得吐血証，屢次服藥不效，後得用小薊疙瘩便方，服一次即愈。</STRONG></P>
